A slower roasting is more appropriated for cocoa beans, as they are more delicate. The perfect roast depends on the proper control of the drum speed, the burner power and the hot air circulation.

The BR-F PREMIUM cocoa and dry fruits roasters are equipped with a touch-screen display, a new cost-effective and eco-friendly premix gas burner with precise and responsive control, speed control for the drum and drum fan (air flow), 2 thermocouples (bean and exhaust air temperatures), vacuum pressure (in Pa), an Ethernet connection to plug a PC or laptop, and other top-level technical features like the cooling air exhaust temperature.
The roasting profile software BRIGUS – Coffee Roast Control & Log System allows you to control the roaster and the pre-selected roasting profile.
With BRIGUS you can:
- Define new profile based on previously stored ones
- Roast base under a pre-defined profile
- Rate of Rise (RoR)
- Control the roasting process manually or automatically
- Roast vs. desired profile evolution during the process
- Register occurrences, events and notes
- Register all the processes
- Analyse and compare roasted coffee lots.
