AUTOMATIC WITH BRIGUS ROASTING PROFILE SYSTEM

The CRS-F cocoa and dry fruits roasters are fully automatic featuring caractheristics which improve roaster’s operation and roasting efficiency by introducing the possibility of using the concept of roast profiling with the BRIGUS – Coffee Roast Control & Log System.

HOW IT WORKS

BRIGUS controls all the operating functions and parameters of the CRS-F roasters; control of the on-off switch, load and discharge, burner – manually or in automated mode, flow of air through the fan, roasting time, bean and air temperature and roaster maintenance record.

Additionally BRIGUS will allow the roast master to define the roast profile using a roasted lot or other lot previously created in the BRIGUS database. You can also modify parameters such as bean temperature, burner and fan during the roasting process. BRIGUS will also analyze all the information from each roast and its profile stored in the database, lot by lot or by comparing lots. The roast master is in total control of the roasting process being able to identify roast batch, client, origin, profile type, and obtain results such as color, roast time, environmental conditions, register events such as first and second crack, and note making.

A careful analysis of the cocoa beans and dry fruits is necessary to make the perfect roast.

The roasting process is the most important factor that affects the final product. The end result will not as expected if the roasting is not correctly done. A slower roasting is more appropriated for cocoa beans and dry fruits, as they are more delicate. The perfect roast depends on the proper control of the drum speed, the burner power and the hot air circulation.

Included in all CRS-F cocoa and dry fruits roasters, the Pneumatic Cylinders System opens and closes all doors of the roaster (hopper, drum, and cooler doors) through valves, actuators, switches, and all the accessories for a well-adjusted roasting operation.

Additionally, it improves the overall productivity, making the roasting an easy and effortless process.

Automatic control with BRIGUS roasting system

The CRS-F 30 is a fully automatic roaster featuring caractheristics which improve roaster’s operation and roasting efficiency by introducing the possibility of using the concept of roast profiling with the BRIGUS – Roast Control & Log System.

BRIGUS allows you to control the roaster and the pre-selected roasting profile.

To follow and replicate the curves of a pre-selected profile, BRIGUS automatically controls and adjusts the gas burner and the fan speed parameters (air flow) to follow the roasting curves.
The result is an even and homogeneous roast, batch after batch.


With BRIGUS you can:
