JOPER’s briquetting machines are a great help in the discarding of chaff produced in the roasting process in a ever more regulated local environment.
Briquetting is a simple process by which the peels of the coffee beans are collected in the roaster cyclone and will be transported by the suction system to the briquette press, and is automatically controlled by a level sensor which indicates the amount of pressed chaff inside the deposit. The final step is the automatic production of uniform individual briquettes. This whole process is protected with water injection in order to prevent fires. The briquette press can be provided for already existing plants and adapted according to actual conditions and needs.
Producing briquettes is a clean energy operation which improves the environment, and briquettes can be used as an energy source for other plant sectors.
