Designed to last a life time, the CRS series is manufactured in cast iron, engineered and built to exacting specifications.

CRS-30 coffee roasters are semi-automatic featuring characteristics which will improve roaster´s operation and roasting efficiency to higher levels by introducing the possibility of using the concept of roasting profiling with the all new State of the Art Roast Profiling System BRIGUS by JOPER.

BRIGUS controls all the operating functions and parameters of the CRS roasters;

  • control of the on-off switch,
  • load and discharge,
  • burner- manually or in automated mode,
  • flow of air through the fan,
  • roasting time,
  • bean and air temperature and
  • roaster maintenance record.

Additionally BRIGUS will allow the roast master to define the roast profile using a roasted lot or other lot previously created in the BRIGUS data base. You can also modify parameters such as bean temperature, burner and fan during the roasting process. BRIGUS will also analyze all the information from each roast and its profile stored in the data base, lot by lot or by comparing lots.

The roastmaster is in total control of the roasting process being able to identify roast batch, client, origin, profile type, and obtain results such as color, roast time, environmental conditions, register events such as first and second crack, and note making.

“At the center of the FIKA FIKA Coffee Lab in Taipei Nangang, a business-level CRS-30 roasting machine is in operation.

This cast iron roasting equipment came from the world’s leading Portuguese manufacturer Joper, with a total weight of nearly 2 tons.”
