A COST-EFFECTIVE PREMIX BURNER

Roasteries and coffee shops are always looking for ways to reduce costs in their roasting operations, mainly those linked to gas and electricity. The implementation of a premix burner is the answer they were looking for.

Since the gas and air mixing parameters are created upstream of the combustion head of the burner, the resulting flame is consistent, shorter and stronger in length, thus providing a reduction in costs and maintenance.

Main Features

  • Cast iron drum with double wall

  • Premix burner with low NOx emission levels

  • Up to 20% reduced consumption (electric and gas)

  • Minimal operation and reduced mechanical maintenance

  • Interface for external ‘data loggers’ software systems (Cropster and Artisan)

  • Intuitive, precise, and continuously adjustable parameters for a flexible roasting process

  • Excellent hot air temperature distribution

  • 4 independent Premium Efficiency IE3 motors

  • Simultaneous roasting and cooling stages reduce cycle times and improve workflow

  • Great roasting consistency allows high uniformity in the grain pattern

  • Cooler sieve with a large surface and adjustable position

  • Roaster customization options available

Take control of your roasting

MANUAL WITH DATA LOGGER PROFILE

The BR 15 STANDARD model is equipped with variation to control the drum speed and drum fan speed with potentiometers in the control panel, a vacuum pressure (in Pa), a converter, 2 thermocouples with double readout, a USB connection and it is prepared for data loggers profile software Cropster or Artisan.

This type of software is a datalogger that records the exhaust temperature ‘air flow’ (ET), the bean temperature (BT), the Rate-of-Rise (RoR) and the roasting curves. However, to be able to repeat these records you will have to control it manually.

artisan software

The main advantage of having speed variation in the drum and drum fan is to have more control and flexibility during the roasting process, as well as the possibility of having a better roasting curve for the different coffee origins.

The variators allow a smoother start of the motors, ensuring their longevity and reduce the routine mechanical maintenance. In addition, you will also have approximately 20% in energy savings.

NOTE: The guarantee of operation, maintenance, updates and support is the sole responsibility of the companies that develop the external software integrated into the equipment built by Joper.

AUTOMATIC CONTROL WITH ROAST PROFILE SOFTWARE

By connecting an external Roasting Profile Software, the BR 15 can operate automatically. (*)

The following models with the roasting profile software will expand the capabilities of the roaster by enabling an accurate and automated reproduction of all saved-defined recipes and parameters stored in the software database.

(*) Available capacities: 3, 5, 15 and 25 kg/batch
